DESCRIPTION:
Bacteriostatic water is a sterile solution specifically designed for medications that need to be diluted or dissolved in an aqueous medium before injection. WATERMED (Bacteriostatic Water for Injections) is highly purified, sterilized water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol. It is used to dilute or dissolve medications to the correct consistency for injection. The pH of Bacteriostatic Water is approximately 5.7.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Bacteriostatic water is used to dilute or dissolve medications according to the manufacturer's instructions before injecting them into the patient. It is different from sterilized water, which is filtered and purified but without additives and is usually intended for single use only.
